1.) The following exhibition titled:

"Che Guevara-Bilder der Revolution aus der Skrein Photo Collection", starting on the 24th November 2012 in the "Museum der Moderne", Rupertinum Salzburg, with more than 200 rare Vintages, mostly full size.

2.) "Cuba, a revolutionary Project..." from the Maria & Christian Skrein Collection with Vintage Prints of the Cuban Revolution was on view at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, May - October, 2011 including

"Che Guevara" The Iconic Image of a Generation
The oldest known existing vintage print (1961-1964) taken by Alberto Korda 1960, with more than 255.000 visitors.


"Göttersteine - Tempelstufen"
Christian Skrein traveled to the Maya Ruins in Mexico, which are plough through with tourists today.
In the light of the brittle beauty by the existing Maya-Architecture, Christian Skrein took pictures with a Leica S2, the tourists contact, as a place of desire ancient religions.
After 40 years of photographic break, Christian Skrein connected to his artistic documentary work of the 60s.
He classifies his contemporary work into the
place of desire of the Maya-Pyramidss with 40 fullsize photographs (ap. 100x200 cm).
